Ida is a Finnish Singer-Songwriter living in New York. She has been in the US for 13 years, and she’s making it happen.
We talk about how Ida ended to the US, and also how she got her visa. She gives wonderful advice on getting a visa as an independent artist.
She shares her experiences being an artist in New York, and how she is able to make everything work. And she talks about her career goal playing only her own music to audiences.
Ida was also chosen to be Performer of the Year for Finlandia Foundation National in 2023. I had the same title in 2024.
